Though the role of Kate (Oliver’s wife) is rather small, it was really important for me to find someone who not only physically worked with Stephen but more importantly had a specific sensibility that I felt we needed to help humanize Oliver’s character. I watched several reels of different actresses but when I saw Brooke’s I knew immediately that she was the one.
