APTiTUS: DOBLES DE RIESGO
This is definitely one of the coolest projects I directed with Gonzalo in Advertising. Simply, El Comercio — the largest newspaper in Peru — put an advertisement in the paper to prove that advertising in their ‘want adds’ still works. And boy did it! The newspaper did a cattle call for ‘Stunt Doubles’ — 417 of whom showed up — and almost none hand any experience whatsoever. We put them through a series of tests and the finalist were then selected to be in action sequence … kind of like a short film. I have never directed action, but as I have seen more than my fair share, it came pretty easy to me.
