Great news for Último Recurso yet again. My first short film True Colours played in this small German city’s film festival. I met Holger (one of the two festival directors) in Jan of ’07 at the IFFR (Rotterdam International Film Festival). He was there scouting for his festival and immediately approached me after he saw True Colours and said he would like to screen it at his festival. Obviously I was delighted. We hung quite a bit in Rotterdam and drank god only knows how many beers together…Germans are experts at that activity! I was then lucky enough to make my way to Osnabruk for the festival a many months later. It was lovely as were all the people. Unfortunately I won’t make it there this time around however to be a part of the festival once again is an honor. These guys really know and appreciate film and to be in their company is truly humbling. I will be there in spirit!
