The original seed of this story came from a personal experience when I was in a supermarket in London. I was 10 pence short so I did what I think anyone would do in that situation, I turned to the person who was standing behind me in line. He had enough food lined up to feed an army. “Would you be so kind to help me out with 10 P” I said to which he coldly responded “no.” I did a double take at his bottle of wine and olives “It’s just 10 P.” His response “this food isn’t for me, I’m buying it for someone else.”
From that True Colours became what it is. I love the creative process!
