The 3rd term exercise at the London Film School was to make a documentary up to 30 minutes. Prior to film school, the director (Martin Stitt) was in the British Army and was stationed in Nepal for a time. There he got a good grasp on the language and culture.
Cut to several years later (our 3rd term exercise), Martin proposed that we make a docu-drama following four boys who attempt to join the British Army’s Royal Gurkhas.
This is a four-minute taste.
